Africa Regional Programme Operational Description of the Phase - 1 (2019 - 2030)
The implementation of the Phase 1 of ‘The SDGs Agenda - 2030’ programme at the Regional Level will be focused in Ghana and will span a twelve (12) year period (2019 - 2030), with a total of six (6) cycles of two (2) year per cycle. Each cycle will have a twenty-one (21) months period of intensive implementation and a three (3) months monitoring and evaluation period. Abibiman Foundation will work collaboratively with other relevant stakeholders and the experiences and successes from each cycle would be snowballed in the implementation of the next cycles of the Phase and in the Phases 2 - 4 to enhance the sustainability of the programme.
AFRICA REGIONAL PROGRAMME OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION OF CYCLES I & II OF PHASE 1 (2019 -2022) AND CYCLE I OF PHASE 2 (2021 & 2022)
The implementation of the Cycles I and II of Phase and Cycles 1 of Phase 2 of ‘The SDGs Agenda - 2030’ programme will be done together to allow a three (3) year implementation period (2020-2022), with a one (1) year overlapping implementation space to strategically strengthen the Regional Structures. This will use the momentum built with implementation of Cycle I of Phase 1 in Ghana in 2020 to consolidate the establishment of the Africa Regional structures and expand into the selected six (6) African countries (Nigeria, Ethiopia, Senegal, The Gambia, Liberia and Sierra Leone) as shown in the diagram below.

The programmes and projects of the Cycles I & II of Phase 1 (2019 -2022) and Cycle I of Phase 2 (2021 & 2022) are implemented under each of the SDGs or a combination of SDGs which are focused on each or group around these specific ‘Programme Theme’
